ocean of tears
Tears of despair, rage & sadness
They may look the same
But they don't taste the same
All I see around me is abstruseness.
I'm not an angel with white wings
I'm not an angel that beams
I'm not naïve as it seems
My wings broke and now it stings.
You saw me crying, you walked away
With my own tears I made an ocean
Now it's useless trying to pray
No, you'll never get the notion.
Tears keep falling down endlessly
Salty, cold and black
I believed in you so foolishly
And now I'll be the one to crack.
My wings turned black from the fire
My wings fell with the pain
My tears will be sang by the ocean choir
My tears are the only thing that will remain.
I stare at the stars so bright
As misfortune casts its curse upon me
I'm about to go blind from the sight
And I'm cursed to forever lie in the sea.
Tears of rage, sadness & despair
They may look the same
But they don't taste the same
Tell me, why is life unfair?
